Once you have your Home Brewery or Starter kit, you are ready to start your first batch.
- Ensure all Equipment to come into contact with Beer is sterilized.
- Dissolve contents of container with 1 kg of dextrose in 4 litres of boiling water.
- Add water to bring the volume up to 23 litres.
- When temperature is around 26°C add yeast.
- Ferment at 20°C-30°C
- Fit Fermenter lid tighty. Fit airlock 1/2 filled with sterilizing solution to lid.
- Fermentation should commence within 12 hours. Allow to ferment ( 5-9 days is usual).
- Bottle, adding 1 teaspoon of sugar to each bottle.
- Ready to drink after 2 1/2 weeks. However, maturing 6 weeks or more is recommended.
